CHARITY TOUR SCHEDULE – Lam Dong 17-18/12/2016
Who are we?
Founded in January, 2013, we are Saigon Charity Tour (SCT). SCT was born with the desire to give a helping hand to the poor studious children. SCT is a Charity that combines traveling and collecting donations for disadvantaged children and lonely elderly. We want to hold an event where you can enjoy the scenic beauty of Vietnam, meet new people from different countries, make new friends while helping underprivileged people. Our tour is held once a month.

For such purposes, we write this proposal hoping to receive a positive response and empathy from you, together contributing our love to underprivileged people. Become our members, you will participate in the mission of helping the unfortunate, especially the poor studious students and elderly.
Day 1: Saturday, December 17, 2016
00:00 AM: Check-in & gather at 62G Vo Thi Sau street, Tan Dinh ward, district 1, HCMC
00:30 AM: Depart
(You will be divided into groups of ten. Your name tag will indicate your group number. When you check in, please ask for a list of your group members.)
03:00 AM: First rest stop for restroom break
04:00 AM: Depart for Tin Thac Orphanage, Da Lat, Bao Loc – Lam Dong
05:30 AM: Arrive at Tín Thác Orphanage, unload gifts
06:00 AM: Team 1: Pack and prepare present for children. Team 2: Prepare for other activities
06:30 AM: Help feed the children breakfast, participate in activities and play with children.
07:15 AM: Hand out gifts and cash donation to representative of Tin Thac Orphanage.
Additional gifts/cash donations are welcomed and can be handed on site directly to the intended recipient(s).
08:30 AM: Make video for sharing message “Do not leave your children to be orphans”
09:30 AM: Depart to Da Lat
11:30 AM: Second rest stop and lunch
01:00 PM: Depart for Păng Tiên, Xã Lát, Lạc Dương, Đà Lạt
- Greeting, hand out prepared gifts and cash donations for 110 families.
- Participate activities, play games with children at the village.
- Mingle with the patients
- Meet and greet to elderly
- Additional gifts/cash donations are welcomed and can be handed on site directly to the intended recipient(s).
04:30 PM: Wrap up and board the bus, depart for La an, Đà Lạt, Lâm Đồng
05:00 PM: Arrive at La An Sanctuary. (Rest & shower, prepare for team activities)
05:30 PM: Set up tents. Help prepare for a BBQ dinner (provided)
06:30 PM: Start campfire and BBQ party
07:00 – 10:30 Group activities, mini games, share opinions from volunteers,..
Day 2: Sunday, December 18th, 2016
06:00 AM: Break camp – Take down tents
06:30 AM: Clean up – Breakfast
07:30 AM: Visit Laan Sanctuary
08:30 AM: Team Building
Bamboo rafting games on a 15,000 square-meter lake, team building/folk games on a 12,000 square-meter grassland, hand fishing game, rock climbing, etc.
11:30 PM: Lunch
01:30 PM: Time on own
02:00 PM: Clean up/ Depart to Da Lat market
02:30 PM: Arrive at Đà Lạt Market. Time on own, dinner on own
04:30 PM: Gather at pick-up point
05:00 PM: Depart for Hồ Chí Minh City
06:30 PM: Rest stop and dinner
10:30 PM: Arrive to Ho Chi Minh
During the tour, we endeavor to keep to the intended schedule as highlighted above. While we will always allow for unforeseen circumstances and can be adaptable, we would appreciate everybody’s help in achieving the goal of keeping to the intended itinerary.
Registration fee: 1,500,000 VND / person
Your registration fee already includes the following:
- Transportation on whole trip
- Two lunch meals, one breakfast meal, BBQ party ( breakfast for day 1 is not included)
- Drinking water
- Tents, team building activities.
- Accommodation fee and ticket for Laan Sanctuary
- Presents for children and charity activities.
